PROFILE

Robin Bailey, Principal of SBP Services, is a management consultancy specialising in strategic business and project consultancy services.

Robin brings a unique perspective to his consultancy roles. He is experienced in the requirements of large corporate organisations, significant projects and tenders, small to medium enterprises, government and not-for-profit environments.

He has over 25 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry covering a range of general management, project management and project development roles in international and Australian environments.

His experience includes an appointment as CEO of the Energy & Infrastructure Division of WDS Limited, an ASX listed entity, from 2008 until 2011.

In addition, he is a director of companies in the retail, agricultural and investment sectors, including Biome Living Pty Ltd.

Robin is also a non-executive director of the Kokoda Challenge Association, a not-for-profit organisation providing personal development programmes for at-risk youth.

Robin’s tertiary qualifications include:

• the Company Directors Diploma,
• Postgraduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment,
• MBA, and
• BE (Hons).

He was an inaugural recipient in 1995 of a Vincent Fairfax Ethics in Leadership Award, an 18 month program focussing on the development of ethics in leadership.

Robin is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institution of Engineers, Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Robin graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon in 1988 and served in the Royal Australian Engineers in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
